A  copper-alloy single looped rectangular buckle frame. The frame only remains, the pin is missing. The buckle frame is rectangular with three, flat, broad sides and the fourth largely taken up with a constriction for the attachment of the missing pin. The frame is flat and rectangular in cross section. The constriction is circular in cross section. Copper alloy buckle. A single looped frame with a separate rectangular attachment loop at the rear. The D-shaped loop of the frame has a kidney-shaped aperture and a pointed outer edge with a notch for the pin flanked by low transverse ridges. A copper alloy single looped buckle with a separately attached sheet metal plate (Naylor Class A5iii). The buckle is decorated with moulded and incised Ringerike-style zoomorphic ornament. The frame is flat with and angled outer edge and narrowed bar creating a D-shaped aperture. The front of the frame is decorated with two moulded beast heads biting the ends of the bar. An incomplete copper alloy zoomorphic single-loop buckle frame. The pin is missing. The frame is D-shaped with Borre-style animal heads at the ends of the bar and the mid point of the outer edge.The frame is D-shaped in cross-section and, although very worn, retains traces of stamped decoration along both edges (possibly stamped triangles). A fragment of a copper alloy zoomorphic single-loop buckle frame, consisting of one side only, probably the bar. The bar is sub-circular in cross-section and has been bent. At either end is a triangular animal head, attached by the side of the head, both facing the same way. The heads are identical, each being faceted to either side of a central ridge giving a triangular cross-section. A cast gilded silver artefact, possibly a buckle-plate with interlace decoration. The object is sub-rectangular in form, broadest at the attachment and then tapering towards the centre, from where it flares out again to form a fan-shaped terminal. The attachment end is folded over forming a tab behind, which is fixed closed by a pair of rivets. A cast single loop buckle frame. The frame is oval with a thickened outer edge. The outer edge is decorated with two animal heads. There is a groove between the heads as a pin rest. The heads are very worn , but appear to have recesses for the ears and squared-off snouts. The frame is narrowed from the outer edge and has an oval cross section. Identified by Kevin Leahy as an Anglo-Scandinavian brooch of 11th Century date. Date: Early Medieval - c.1000 - 1100 Dimensions: 8.64 mm x 3.01 mm x 1.83 mm Weight: 1.99 g

Copper alloy buckle frame. An elongated D-shaped, single loop buckle frame. The pin is missing. The sides and outer edge of the frame are cast with Urnes style decoration. This comprises an asymmetrical design of interwoven sinuous interwoven beasts.The back is undecorated and slightly concave. The bar is slightly off-set from the frame and has a rectangular cross section. Dating from the late early medieval period, the second half of the 11th century (identified by Dr Kevin Leahy). Dimensions: 33.32 mm x 33.50 mm x 4.14 mm Weight: 10.21 g
