A complete copper alloy Roman / Byzantine provincial coin, a follis (40 nummi) of Justin II (AD 565-578), dating to the period AD 574-578. The obverse depicts Justin and Sophia enthroned [...]NVS PP [...], the reverse depicts the letter M (for 40 nummi) with ANNO to the left and X [..] to the right (giving the regnal year), a cross above the M and an epsilon for the 5th officiana below. In the exergue; CON for the mint of Constantinople.
