A copper alloy mout fragment, probably from a socketed gouge dating to the late Bronze Age (c.1150-750 BC).
The object has an overall curved shape. The small form of the fragment suggests it is a gouge rather than a socketed axehead. The mouth swells and is slightly thicker than the main body of the object. The opposite side terminates in a jagged break that is worn and smooth, suggesting it broke in antiquity. The interior is rough with a possible casting line present. The surface is undecorated and has a smooth green patina.
