A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave axehead of uncertain type (1500-1150 BC). This fragment is an incomplete blade which is now sub-triangular in plan. Some of the breaks appear to be recent. The sides of the blade flare evenly from the break at the top which has occurred just beneath the missing stop. The cutting edge is missing. On each broad face a central vertical mid-rib diminishes in width towards the bottom. One edge has a prominent casting seam. A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age copper-alloy side-looped and socketed spearhead of probable Middle Bronze Age date (1500-1150 BC). The blade and part of the socket are missing due to breaks. The surviving part of the socket is sub-conical in form and largely circular in cross-section. The side loops are very similar and have a length of c. 12.5mm. Each perforation is very small. CHECK WEIGHT A complete late Bronze Age copper-alloy tanged chisel or leather working knife/tool (c. 1000 BC-800 BC). This chisel has a tapering square-sectioned tang. Between the tang and blade a globular stop/collar measures 10.1mm wide and 8.9mm thick. From the stop the sides of the sub-triangular blade flare evenly to the curving cutting edge. The four edges of the blade are bevelled. In side profile the blade is 'V'-shaped. The implement has a mid-brown patina which is lost in places and there are small areas of corrosion. The butt would have been rounded and the septum has a maximum thickness of 9.7mm close to the 'stop' and a minimum thickness of 3.8mm at the butt end. The sides of the septum and blade have been hammered up to form very low flanges. In side view it is pointed-oval. This axehead is drab green and is corroded overall. The tang, pointed at the end and sub-circular in cross-section, thickens towards the flaring blade which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. The cutting edge appears to be missing. However, due to corrosion this is uncertain. There is no collar. Length: 42.0mm; width: 13.6mm; thickness: 4.9mm. Weight: 4.77g.

An incomplete late Bronze Age copper-alloy leather-working knife (c. 1000 BC-801 BC). This implement is very similar to a chisel. It probably would have had a tang and collar prior to being broken. The surviving part, the blade, is sub-triangular in plan. It flares in width from the top towards the curved cutting edge. The cutting edge curves evenly. There are no casting seams. This implement has a mid-green patina with some small areas of corrosion. The break, which is oval in cross-section, may not be very old. Height: 43.2mm; width: 43.4mm; thickness: 5.4mm. An incomplete Bronze Age cast copper-alloy looped palstave (1500 BC-1150 BC). The butt, flanges, septum and part of the blade are missing. At the top a small portion of the septum survives where there is an oblique break at the side. Opposite this break there is a small loop but the hole has not formed during the casting process. A fragment of a Bronze Age cast copper-alloy socketed axehead (1150 BC-800 BC). This fragment consists of parts of the mouth and body and a complete loop. The mouth is bevelled on its outer face and the loop is at an angle of about 5° from the vertical. A casting seam extends over the centre of the loop on to the body below. At the centre of the loop, the seam is not clear and may be worn at this point. The axehead has a green patina with small areas of active corrosion around one of the breaks on the mouth. An incomplete Early Bronze Age barbed-and-tanged flint arrowhead (2150 BC - 1500 BC). The arrowhead is asymmetrical in plan and bi-facially worked over each face. One of the barbs is missing due to a break. The end of the tang is squared. This arrowhead is pale buff. 26.54 x 21.84 x 4.31mm. Weight: 1.65g.. Green Type 2, Group B. An incomplete Bronze Age cast copper-alloy socketed gouge (c. 1150 BC-c. 800 BC). This is the lower part including the cutting edge. It is 'C'-shaped in cross-section and has a pronounced furrow throughout its length on the rear face. In plan, the sides taper inwards from the break at the top to the cutting edge at the bottom. The distance between the base of the socket and the base of the cutting edge is about 21.75mm. On the rear face, just below the break, there is a circular hole, about 2.32mm in diameter. An incomplete Middle Bronze Age cast copper-alloy palstave (1500 BC-1150 BC). This object is the majority of a blade. It has an asymmetrical cutting edge and a transverse break at the top. From the breaks both sides flare outwards and downwards to the cutting edge which is corroded and blunt. It is 'V'-shaped in side profile. The surfaces are pitted and corroded. There are no cast marks or evidence for re-sharpening. The break is old and abraded.

An almost complete Early Bronze Age cast copper-alloy undecorated developed flat axe (c. 2050 - 1700 BC). This implement is sub-rectangular in plan and pointed-oval in side view. It has a central mid-rib on each face. One mid-rib is more slender than the other. There is an old transverse abraded break at the base and another at the top where the extreme tip is missing. This object is corroded and has patches of a shiny mid-green patina. The breaks are old and patinated. 22.9 x 9.9 x 4.1mm. Weight: 3.20g.

An incomplete Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead (2150-1500 BC). This light grey flint arrowhead is convex on both sides. The tips of the point and barbs are missing. Both sides have been pressure flaked and one side has small areas of buff cortex. This arrowhead is similar to the group described within Butler (who is summarising Green's': Flint Arrowheads of the British Isles') and is best described as a fancy barbed and tanged arrowhead.
