A fragment of a Middle to Late Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave or axehead (1600 BC-801 BC). This fragment is the lower half of the blade and is 'V'-shaped in side profile. The surviving part is the cutting edge. There is a transverse break at the top. The fragment is corroded overall. Height: 18.0mm; width: 48.3mm; thickness; 8.1mm. Weight: 21.71g.

The surviving part is the cutting edge which is broken and there is also a transverse break at the top. The fragment is corroded overall. Height: 14.08mm; width: 21.24mm; thickness: 8.23mm. Possibly a fragment of a Bronze Age axehead (2150 BC – 800 BC). Length: 44.1mm; width: 40.4mm; thickness: 21.3mm; weight: 121.82g. The fragment appears to be the lower part of a large axehead consisting of the lower part of the blade with an incomplete curved cutting edge. There are no casting seams or flash. All the surfaces are corroded, pitted and uneven. Traces of a mid-brown patina survive.
