Flint thumb nail scraper, made from a secondary flake, of probable Early Bronze Age date. Diffuse ripples and a wide butt suggest that a large, soft hammer was probably used. The majority of the dorsal face is covered with brown, chalky, cortex. The distal end shows semi-abrupt, long, parallel retouch. This retouch continues along the left edge, becoming shorter and abrupt. The flint is dark grey-brown in colour, with milky, blotched patination. An incomplete cast copper alloy Middle Bronze Age basal loop spearhead, broken into two pieces. The blade is 'flame' shaped with low blade ribs. The loops are incorporated into the curved base and the loop plates squeezed inwards slightly. One loop is slightly misformed. A small fragment of copper alloy, probably from the tip of a spearhead of middle to late Bronze Age date: 1500-800 BC. The fragment is lentoid in cross-section, creating a slight ridge along the centre of both faces. It is very worn and pitted and the edges are damaged. It is difficult to see whether the end of the socket is visible within the break due to this damage and the small size of the fragment. Fragment of a copper alloy Bronze Age socketed axe. The object is very worn and pitted with smoothed edges, though traces of a shiny greenish patina remain in places. The butt end is missing, all that remains is the blade. The cutting edge curves strongly outwards, and the sides of the blade slope inwards towards the break. The inner end of the socket is just visible as a slight indentation with a ridge forming around it where the rest of the socket has broken away. This axe is of late Bronze Age date, c.1150-800 BC. A flint thumbnail scraper, made from a retouched tertiary waste flake. The ventral face is very slightly convex and the bulb of purcussion appears to have been removed by a recent break. The dorsal face has three flaking scars, surrounded on three edges by semi-abrupt to abrupt retouch. The distal end has a slightly rolled edge resulting from later damage probably through ploughing or similar action. A small flint thumbnail scraper, probably of early Bronze Age date. A secondary flake has been used; cortex still covers around 50% of the dorsal face. Crude and sporadic sub-parallel, long, semi-abrupt retouch extends from the proximal end of the left edge of the dorsal face, around the curved distal end, to around half way down the right edge. The butt is fairly small. The bulb appears to be fairly diffuse, but the majority has been reoved via a small flake. The flint is dark brown with a shiny patina. Fragment of the butt of a Bronze Age palstave axe. The fragment is wedge shaped with raised edges of each side creating a 'H' shaped profile. The fragment is in fairly poor condition; it is eroded and pitted with very rounded edges. However, a small amount of dark-green, shiny patina can be seen in a few places. The small size and worn condition of the fragment makes it difficult to determine the original form of the palstave. However, it probably dates to the mid Bronze Age.
