It is sub-triangular in form flattened lozenge cross section and a brown patina. It is bifacially worked with covering scaled low angle re-touch. Each barb is slightly different, with one being a very slight triangular projection and the other a sub rectangular longer projection. It has an intact rectangular tang with a rounded surface.

The object consists of a solid sub-circular terminal 9.5mm long and 8mm wide. Below this the object has a rectangular form which widens and flattens sharply out to a terminal which appears to have been broken, as though ripped. Copper alloy tanged chisel or narrow flat axe of later Early Bronze Age to early Middle Bronze Age date. It is roughly sub-triangular in form with a slightly lentoid section, but unusually long and narrow for an axe of this type. It has an expanded, curved blade at one end and a rounded butt at the other. It is not clear whether there are slight flanges along each side or a median bevel. The surface is highly pitted and corroded. Two similar axes have been recorded on the PAS database - HESH-298FF4 and HESH-041538. Length: 55.0mm, width: 12.0mm, thickness: 3.0mm, weight: 0.77g

The spearhead has a conical open shaft, (9mm in diameter) which very gently tapers into an integral wide central mid rib running down a leaf shaped blade. Bronze Age gold penannular ring. The object has a slightly tapering sub- circular section and is turned inwards to form an open loop. The object has flat terminals which are aligned almost parallel, tapering inwards slightly at their inner edge and are set 4mm apart. Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the penannular ring carried out by the British Museum's Department of Conservation and Scientific Research indicated a gold content of 82-85%, silver content of 12-14%, the remainder being copper. The arrowhead is complete and has no obvious damage. It is triangular in form with three rectangular protrusions emerging from its lower edge, forming the tang and barbs. These and the blades have been finely worked one each side and the tang has been flaked to produce a tapering section.
