A complete, gold-plated Late Bronze Age (1150-800 BC) penannular ring. The ring is in the shape of an oval-sectioned loop. Many of these penannular rings have a copper alloy core wrapped in gold sheet; however, it is not entirely clear if this is the case for this example, as there are to chips or brakes showing the core. There are many examples of these objects recorded in the PAS database. Some of these include: BH-719492 (2018 T761), PAS-011055 (2016 T920), KENT-FF00A6 (2018 T376) and HAMP-425F0D (2018 T89).
