A Middle Bronze Age copper alloy tanged knife with a spatulate terminal, dating to 1500 - 1150 BC. The blade is a long rectangular shape, the terminal end is rounded and slightly wider. The blade narrows slightly in the centre. At the attachment end there is a notch one side and two the other, creating the tange. After this there is an oval projection to attach. In cross section it is a long lozenge shape, on both sides there is a rounded ridge running down the cenre of the blade. The knife is a red brown colour, with patches of light brown and green. It has a raised flat section running the length of the blade, the blade is lozenge shaped in cross section. The blade widens slightly in the centre, possibly suggesting that the knife was tanged. A complete piece of gold ribbon or bracelet possibly dating to the Bronze Age, 2350BC to 800 BC. The ribbon is a long thin strip of a gold, which has been folded three times over itself, and terminates at either end with a rounded edge. The surface of the ribbon has been scratched. There is no decoration visible. The ribbon is a yellow gold colour, and measures 76.1mm in length, 7.3mm in width, 0.6mm in thickness, and weighs 4.23g.  Similar to Record KENT-21C63F on the database.
