Bronze Age/ Iron Age probable borer or piercer on a flake, measuring 48.5x28.3x11.8mm and weighing 12.99g. The flint is black in colour but this is only visible where it has been worked - otherwise the flint is 100% patinated, c.50% heavily. The mesial and upper right dorsal edge has been pressure flaked to to the distal end. The lower right dorsal edge has also been worked. On the ventral face, a flake has been removed horizontally from one edge to the other. The left (mesial) edge where it reached has been pressure flaked. It does have a rather wide 'point', c.13mm.

On a thick fragment with long projection, probably a naturally formed break. The projection has had some retouch to improve its shape and shows signs of use wear. Not readily datable but most likely to be Bronze Age or Iron Age.
