Tip of narrow copper-alloy spearhead which is curiously curved and must have been bent in antiquity. There is no trace of the socket, but as the fragment is only 32 mm long and 9 mm max wide this is perhaps not surprising. The tip curves smoothly from the break at the wider end (neither particularly old nor particularly new) to a sharp tip, and there is no hint of stress to the metal. The bend is almost all in one plane - side-to-side - with only a very slight hint of a front-to-back curve. The edges are sharp, and there is a rounded midrib; in section the spearhead tip is lozengiform …

Incomplete copper-alloy spearhead, tip and socket end missing (old, patinated breaks); slightly bent near tip. The length of socket into the mid-rib is quite short, suggesting a non-lead copper alloy. Narrow, slightly flame-shaped blade form, with concave channel beside mid-rib. The mid-rib is angular nearer the tip but becomes rounded towards the socket end. The surface is eroded and partially pitted, though there is little obvious active bronze disease. Mainly deep brown patina. Rowlands (1976) group 2 side-looped spearhead; a similar, but slightly larger, parallel comes from Burnt F…

An atypical barbed and tanged arrowhead made from a bifacially worked flake. The tang is off-centre so that there is only room for a barb to one side. Secondary working is confined to the edges, the tip has broken off and the arrowhead is a nice unpatinated deep brown.

Complete low flanged axe made of copper alloy. Flanges are relatively slight, 2 mm high at most, and possibly formed by hammering. Only a small part of the original surface survives, which is decorated with a punched chevron design. Slightly trapezoidal body with flaring flade. Not trace of a clear stop-bevel. Symmetrical lenticular long-section. One end of the blade is worn (or possibly corroded) away. The surface is still partially encrusted with soil, but where visible the original surface appears dark brown. Where the original surface is lost, the axe is a pale/medium brown…
