Fragment of copper or copper-alloy slab, perhaps from a Late Bronze Age copper ingot, although compositional analysis would be needed to confirm this. Roughly drop-shaped, one face is convex and the other is more strongly concave; the irregularly broken edge tapers towards the concave face, making its surviving area small. There are small voids in the broken edge. Both faces are smooth, especially the concave one which feels quite polished. Mid to dark green patina. Maximum length 55 mm, maximum width 33 mm, thickness 14 mm.

Complete plano-convex copper or copper-alloy (not analysed) 'ingot'. Oval, with one end pointed and one end rounded, so therefore not of the typical circular 'bun-ingot' form. Irregular pitted surface. Mainly dark green patina on top, and pale/medium green corrosive products on underside. Some recent grazes and abrasion (agricultural?) showing bronze (rather than copper) colour on high points of top surface. 'Length' 153 mm, 'width' 91 mm, thickness 16 mm, weight 708g.

Fragment of copper-alloy plate, dark grey-green patina with slight traces of bronze disease. All edges have ancient breaks. On one face there is a narrow rib which runs up the centre of the fragment to meet a second transverse rib at right angles. This second rib runs along a broken edge. The other face is flat and undecorated. The dimensions of the fragment are 40 mm (parallel to the central rib) x 28 mm perpendicular to this, and 2.2 mm thick excluding the rib. It weighs 15.32g. Copper-alloy plate fragments with narrow ribs seem to have been cast from bronze (copper/tin) ingot…

Fragment of copper-alloy plate, dark grey-green patina with slight traces of bronze disease. On one face there is a narrow rib which runs up close to one broken edge. At one end of this rib it meets a short length of unbroken bevelled edge at right angles. At the other end the rib meets a slight trace of a transverse possible second rib, on the edge of a break. The other edges are also broken. The other face is flat and undecorated. The dimensions of the fragment are 33.5 mm (parallel to the rib) x 26 mm perpendicular to this, and 2.5 mm thick excluding the rib. It weighs 12.74g. …
