An incomplete cast copper-alloy Middle to Late Bronze Age palstave axe dating to c. 1600-1200 BC, possible shield-pattern palstave axe head, Arreton/Acton Park Metalwork Assemblage.
The axe is narrow and unlooped, with a rounded stop-ridge on both sides at right angles to the septum. Prominent side flanges, the butt narrows to a damaged end. A cast copper-alloy fragment, possibly a tip of a flanged axe or palstave dating from the Early to Middle Bronze Age (c.2050-1400 BC).
The object is trapezoidal with a triangular cross-section. It has a flaring edge and narrows towards a shaft. The opposite end of the cutting edge has a facetted side and an adjacent truncated side which appears damaged. The surface is a mid-green patina with patches of brownish-green. There is a circular hole, possibly as the result of a casting flaw. Very worn.

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy Early-Middle Bronze Age axe, probably a flanged axehead of uncertain sub-type dating to the period 1600 - 1300 BC. This corresponds with the Acton Park II, and Taunton metalworking Assemblages, that correspond with Needham Period 4 or 5.
Only the butt has survived. It is rectangular and convex with cast flanges that are triangular in cross-section, tapering towards the septum. The fragment is very worn and pitted, with patches of developed brown surface in places. The break is patinated and an old break.

The awl is elongated and has four broadly rectangular facets tapering gently at both ends. The middle width is almost square in cross-section, with the widest point is approximately at the centre of it. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy Late Bronze Age sword of the Ewart Park-type metalworking tradition dated c.950 - c.750 cal BC.
Only part of the hilt and part of the blade has survived. The hilt has marginal ribs running down its edges and two circular perforations. The hilt expands into the shoulders and blade. Above the filled hole on the grip, it starts thickening in the centre to form the mid-rib, smoothing out along the blade. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Late Bronze Age awl dating to 1200-800 BC.
It is elongated of sub-square section at the junction of the long point and the tang, the section changes to oval, blending towards the tip, the tang becoming more rectangular. The point is flat and broken and the tang narrows to a blunt point and is bent into a curved, probably as a result of ploughing. All surfaces are patinated a mid-to-dark green colour, the recent loss to the surfaces is now green.

A flat triangular arrowhead. On one side there is a slightly raised ridge from the uppermost tip to the central tang. The uppermost tip has been broken off and one of the barbs has been snapped off in antiquity, the other is incomplete. It has a light green patina on one side, the other is slightly darker.

The lower portion of the socket and loop, and tip are missing. The blade is broadly elongated lozenge-shaped with a prominent midrib. A possible unfinished stone macehead of Bronze Age to Neolithic in date.
The object is sub-oval and D-shaped in cross-section with two flat faces, one with a circular off-centre indentation measuring 23.75 mm in diameter and c.11 mm in depth. The stone is dark grey, pitted with quartz inclusions. One edge is flattened (the lowest edge in the image), while the remaining are curved or slightly convex.
Overall dimensions are as follows Length: 93.16 mm; Width: 80.43 mm; Thickness: 61 mm; Weight: over 200g.
