An incomplete barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of Early Bronze Age dating (c. 2500 BC to c. 1500 BC). Approximately 95% of the arrowhead is present, with the tang and tip being incomplete. The arrowhead has been knapped from a dark grey coloured piece of flint. It is broadly sub-triangular in shape and lentoid in cross section. The tang is incomplete and the surviving barbs are sub triangular. The arrowhead has been knapped using both direct and indirect percussion techniques. A complete struck / knapped flint tanged arrowhead, of Middle Bronze Age dating (c. 2,400 BC to c. 1000 BC). The arrowhead is sub triangular in shape, with a square end tang located centrally. It has been made from a tertiary debitage flake as none of the original cortex (outer rind) is present. The ventral face is flat. The dorsal surface exhibits retouch along both edges and a central ridge. The retouch can be classified as Short / Sub parallel / low angle.
