An irregular 3rd-century Roman copper-alloy radiate struck on a highly mis-shapen flan. The coin is imitating an 'INVICTUS' reverse depicting Sol, common on coins of Victorinus (269-271 AD; Reece and James 2000, 28-29; ref. 27). It is taken that most contemporary copies were struck between c. 275 and c. 285 AD (Reece issue period 14).

Roman coin; Probable contemporary copy of a ‘fallen horseman’ nummus of the House of Constantine, dated to the late 4th century, c. 350-361. The coin is tiny and has very little of the design present on the reverse side. However, a ground line with a tangle of legs & a possible horse’s rump can be made out, which has led to me this suggested identification. The obverse side is very worn but seems to have a head facing right. No inscription is present on either face.

A copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a GLORIA EXERCITVS two standards type (330 - 402). The coin has a diameter of 11mm and is 1.6mm thick. It weighs 1g. The design is crude and simplified but is neatly executed. There are no legends. The coin is quite worn. Contemporary copies (Roman forgeries) are very common from this period.

Probably a late Roman issue of the usurper Magnentius dating from c. AD350-53 (A or K behind head). However, the first letters of the obverse inscription are barely legible and with that reverse it could also be a loal copy of Constantius II.
