An 18th-century copper-alloy post-medieval jetton struck by Johann Conrad Hoger, English style (Anne), struck at Nuremberg during his fl. AD 1705-1743. Only a Georgian "English" type is recorded in Mitchiner (1988) for this master, although his contemporary Johann Jacob Dietzel (fl. AD 1711-1748) struck a similar Queen Anne type (Mitchiner 1872). This is the second recorded example of a Queen Anne jetton from this master on the PAS database (see also BUC-E15C45).
