Copper alloy nummus, a contemporary copy of the House of Constantine, dating to c. AD 355-61 (Reece Period 18). The obverse legend appears to conflate inscriptions for Julian (AD 355-63) and Constantius II (AD 337-61), although the diademed bust is for Constantius II (Julian being bare-headed on these issues). Obverse: Pearl-diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right, inscription: DN C IVI - T G F AVG (N is backwards).
