An incomplete copper-alloy Roman nummus of Theodosius I (AD 379-395), dating to the period AD 383-387 (Reece period 20). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor advancing right holding standard and dragging captive. Probably mint of Rome. Cf. RIC IX, p. 130, no. 55b. This is the first coin of this type recorded through the PAS.
