Three silver pennies of Edward the Elder, all East Anglian Portrait types with blundered reverse legends, North 651, AD899-924. Two of the coins were found very close together, the third a little way away. There is no doubt that the three coins represent part of a hoard concealed c.925. This is strikingly close in date to the large hoard of Morley St Peter now in the Castle Museum, Norwich and it must surely be the case that the two hoards are connected.
