Copper Alloy barbarous radiate, imitating a coin of Victorinus, circa AD 269-271 (Reece Period 13). Obverse: Radiate bust right, legend: [I]MP C VIC[TORINVS PF AVG], although the bust itself is of good quality the lettering is off, being too thin and spindly. Reverse: Virtus stands left holding a verticle spear or sceptre in his right hand and with a shield resting on the ground to his left. The figure is unususally crude - for example neither arm is articulated, and are rather curved lines and it appears that the coin is an imitation of Cunetio 2550 (pg 149), only with the reverse mi…
