A post-Medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg Jetton, of anonymous 'ship-penny' type (c. 1490-1550). Obverse: sailing ship with rigging and sail, with waves beneath, the bow has a pennant pole on the right, the stern a flag on the left. Reverse: Four fleur-de-lis in a lozenge surrounded with trefoils flanked by small annulets in each quarter of the field. Fictitious legends. Cf. Mitchiner (1988) number 1171. The jetton has been pierced through the centre.

A copper-alloy jetton of the Rechenmeister type, dating to AD 1550-1580. Obverse depicts Rchenmeister seated facing, at his counting table with jetons to one side and a counting grid to the other. Reverse depicts the alphabet, within a double-line square frame, with 'o 3-foil o' outside, on each side. Mitchiner (1988, 416) notes that the second 'Z' is a signature attributed to Hans Zwingel (AD 1553-1586). Comparable to Mitchiner (1988), p. 416, nos. 1427-1428 and WILT-A254C7.
