EXALTABITVR IN GLORIA reverse type depicting a floriated cross with a lis at the end of each limb; in each angle, a lion passant, guardant; all within a tressure of eight arches. Minted in London. The reverse legend exhibits a spelling error, reading EXALTABIVR as opposed to EXALTABITVR. Spelling errors such as this are not uncommon on coins from this period.
