A silver post Medieval half groat of Charles I, (AD 1625-1649) struck 1631-1636.  As North Group D, number 2254. Initial mark probably harp. Tower mint. Measurements are; diameter 15.64mm, thickness 0.7mm and weight 0.74g. Obverse: CAROLVS D G M B F ET [H REX]. Bust left with II behind. No inner circle. Reverse: Royal coat of arms on an oval shield flanked by C R. [IVSTIT]IA THRON[VM FIRMAT]. No inner circle.
