A Post Medieval copper alloy token; a halfpenny issued by the Overseers of the Poor in Louth, Lincolnshire, dated 1671. The obverse displays a crowned rose with the date below and the reverse face is taken up entirely by the legend. Unusually for a token of this type it is lozenge-shaped. The token is complete. It has a deep brown patina.
