An incomplete and broken early medieval silver sceat of Primary Phase Series C2 dating c.700-710 and probably minted in Kent.
The coin is broken in front of the obverse bust and the inscription in front is now missing. This is most likely to have been runic 'aepa' of series C given the reverse design of the standard with a cross on each side, typical of Series C2.

A fragment of an early medieval silver penny of Lunettes type dating c.AD852-74/6, probably of Burgred of Mercia (852-874), reverse type a, mint: London (North 423). Ref: North 1994: 100.
