Obverse shows forward facing crowned bust 'T'  lower left of bust and a key lower right of bust. Obverse legend is illegible and clipped [EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FR] A [NC]. Reverse possibly a solid long cross, that may have very worn symbol at its centre,  three pellets per quarter. Reverse legend is mostly illegible but reads CIVI/TAS/.[EBO] [/R]ACI

A clipped and pierced Post Medieval silver penny of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). Much of the coin has been clipped and the inital mark is not visible, and so it is unfortunanlty not possible to assign a North number. The coin has been pierced by a small hole to the left of the bust at c. 7 o'clock (as seen on the obverse) through from the obverse to the reverse.
