Approximately a quarter of the outer rim of the coin is missing, broken along the lineof the inner circle.  obverse: B G VICECOM[ITES];  'Visconti snake' (biscia) eating 'Saracen'.  reverse: MEDIOLANVM depicting a cross.  The coin appears to have been pierced, once directly through the centre, with a second, smaller hole just below.
