A retouched flake of Mesolithic date, 7000 - 4000 BC. The flake is a mottled pale grey colour, and is sub-rectangular in shape. Two narrow flakes have been struck from the dorsal side, with a third flake removed towards the top of the flake. This has been further worked towards the distal end. The concave ventral face is smooth with a low bulb of percussion. There is semi-abrupt, sub-parallel, very short retouch along the left mesal to form a scraper or small saw-like implement. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000 - 4000 BC. Length: 43.2mm, Width: 12.6mm, Thickness: 5.5mm. Weight: 3.7g.

Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite strap-end of crescentic type, the front of the crescent has engraved foliate decoration and the stump of a missing cast foliar knop. Both points of the crescent are missing where broken across a rivet-hole, there are two further rivet-holes above the springing of the missing knop. Extant length 35mm. Width 33mm. Cf.
