A copper alloy Medieval or Post Medieval (12th to mid-19th centuries) fragment, probably from a cooking vessel leg.
The object consists of a central part of a pot leg. The upper edge has a broken and jagged terminal where the leg would have once attached to the pot. The sides taper to a completely flat broken end. On the outer face is a central moulded rib that runs vertically along the fragment. The opposing face is convex. The fragment has a well-developed mid green coloured patina with some brown corrosive material covering parts of the sides.

A cast bronze (copper alloy) faceted socketed axe of late Bronze Age date (950 – 750 BC). The axe is relatively short and stubby and is known as ‘baggy axe’.
The axe is sub-rectangular in plan with concave sides and a flared convex cutting edge, which measures 48.1mm across. The mouth of the socket is broadly oval (28.9mm x 24.7mm). The mouth of the socket has a faint moulded collar, although some of the original surface is missing. At the base of the collar, on one edge is a complete loop.

A complete copper alloy annular brooch of Medieval dating (c.AD 1250-1400).
The brooch is circular in plan with a frame that is, barring decorative feature, D-shaped in cross section with a flat reverse and convex upper surface. The outer face is also decorated with six raised broadly hexagonal collets that are taller and wider than the frame of the brooch. An incomplete copper alloy crescent-type Aesica brooch of 1st Century AD dating. (Refs: Mackreth 2011, p.46 & Plates 27 & 28; Hattat 2000 Fig 170.)
Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head and bow and part of the back. The foot, pin, spring and catch plate are missing.

An incomplete copper alloy purse bar, of the Early Post Medieval period, dating from circa AD 1500 - AD 1550.
The remains of the purse bar include the two complete horizontal arms which would have formed the upper part of the frame. The remainder of the frame is now missing. A complete iron axehead of uncertain dating, possibly Medieval to Post medieval (c. AD 1000 - 1800).
The axehead is broadly triangular in form with a curved cutting edge. The socket is broadly rectangular in form with rounded upper and lower projections. The perforation in the socket is triangular. The axehead has a straight flat butt end. The main body of the blade has a more tapered downward projection as opposed to the upper edge that is more angular as it tapers to the cutting blade.

An incomplete stone medieval carving (AD c. 1200 - c. 1500), missing a fragment from one corner (a relatively recent break) and fragments from the front (old breaks). The sculpture has been carved into a block of Birchover Sandstone in sunk relief. The left, right and bottom edges of the block project forward further than the figure depicted.

A stone Iron Age 'pillar stone' or stele dating to the fourth to first centuries BC. The pillar stone is broadly square in cross-section with slightly rounded corners.
