An incomplete lock escutcheon from a piece of furniture, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800).
The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, but with a flat cross section. Iron corrosion products do obscure the surface. The lock escutcheon has a pelta shape above with a sunburst stamp on a it. The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, with a semi-circular top with a squared lys terminal at the base.
It measures 46.4 mm in length, 49. 8 mm wide and 10.3 mm thick. It weighs 31.9 g.

A complete copper alloy crotal or rumbler bell of probable Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD).
The bell is sub circular in plan and profile, with an integrally cast sub rectangular suspension loop attached to the top. The edges of the rectangular suspension loop have been bevelled. The base of the bell is semi circular, with a rectangular slot across the base, with circular ends. The Iron 'pea' is still present inside the bell. Minimal decoration appears visible on the lower hemispheres of the bell.

A complete copper-alloy terminal, 'end-cap' or pommel from a knife of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1650).
This terminal is likely to have come from an iron scale tang knife. It starts at a rectangular base and then forms into two parallel curved arms, which then connect by a small bar at the top of the terminal. The shape of the object is very similar to a lyre. A large copper alloy fragment, possibly from a church bell, dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (AD 1400-1800).
The fragment is irregular in plan and cross section. Each side of the fragment has a worn and broken edge. The fragment has a convex outer face which is plain and undecorated. The inner face is concave and has a central moulded rib and a triple moulded edge.
The fragment is mid-green / brown in colour with a mottled surface patina.
It measures 78.7mm in length, 75.1mm in width and has a thickness of 17.6mm. It weighs 387.2 grams.

An incomplete copper alloy cruciform stud or mount, likely a furniture fitting or decoration, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
The mount is domed. It has four lobes, making it a cruciform or quatrefoil shape. Each lobe has an incised line down the centre, and a central cross marking out the separate lobes. The reverse is concave, with an incomplete rectangular cross sectioned attachment spike present at the centre.
It measures 24.6 mm in length, 23.5 mm wide and 13.4 mm thick. It weighs 20.6 g.
The mount is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Post Medieval dating dating (1500 to 1600 AD).
It is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at both ends, with a rounded nose, and circular eye. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central flower design, with leaves pointing away on both sides. Iron corrosion products are present at the centre, and indicate that the pin may have been made from iron.

A post medieval copper alloy strap mount. The object has a pointed trefoil teminal, with an undecorated triangular plate that has two curvilinear shapes flaring from th main body (lys or lis). The bottom of plate is rectangular in shape, emerging from the centre. The reverse is flat with two integrally cast fixing rivets. The object has an uneven dark grey surface patina.

A post medieval sherd of triangular form, that would likely have formed part of a butter pot due to its curvature. An example of sandy coarse earthenware, the sherd has a red body which is mostly uniform in colour save for areas of grey on the inner and outer surfaces, possibly due to over-firing. The fabric is abraded and the inclusions are mostly quartz, with very rare white grains. A larger grain of quartz is visible on the outer surface of around 0.9mm in length.

A complete copper alloy probable pommel from a sword, dagger or mace of probable Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).
The probable pommel is almost cuboid in shape and hollow. The top of the probable pommel is circular at the top, with the edges bevelled to turn a square into a circle. A sub circular perforation is at the centre of the top, with an internal diameter of 7.2 mm. Several depressions are present at the surface suggesting it has been impacted by a heavier tool. A complete lead or lead alloy probable lid for a small vessel or similar artefact, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900).
The lid is conical in shape, with a circular hole at the top. This has an internal diameter of 11.0 mm. A triangular shaped vertical handle is present at the opposite side to the rectangular hinge. Two attachment lugs are still present, with an iron axis bar between them. The inside is concave with a lip at the base.
It is 21.5 mm wide, 30.9 mm thick and 10.1 mm tall. It weighs 7.47 g.
The lid is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete Early Modern silver filigree button. The button is formed of two domed hemispheres of openwork filigree soldered together. Each hemisphere is made of nine (9) wire loops, each with a coil of twisted wire inside.

An incomplete copper-alloy Jews Harp (or Jaws Harp) of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1400 to AD 1700.
In plan, the Jews harp consists of a sub circular head, and two tapering arms, both with the characteristic lozenge cross section. The arms are complete. The rabbet is located at the apex of the head, where the iron tongue which would have produced the twanging sound of the instrument was once attached.The Jews harp has a dark brown patina. The artefact is cylindrical in shape. The ends are incomplete. Along the length of the body, are longituditual ridges, with possible zig zag decoration between them.
It has a length of 19.5 mm, is 11.3 mm wide and 8.6 mm thick. It weighs 11.7 g.
The artefact is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement while within the plough soil, has resulted in the loss of some of the original surface detail.
