""These coins were found wrapped in a sheet of lead in an old stone drain in the garden of Rhos Abbey when the site was being cleared for the erection of a hotel (Rhos Abbey Hotel) [Railway Arms Hotel] in 1898."

-Canon Ellis Davies, Prehistoric and Roman Remains of Denbighs. (1929) 198, saw 6 coins from this find. They were all folles of Constantine I, with the following reverses:
GENIO POP ROM (1), MARTI CONSERVATORI (1), and SOLI INVICTO COMITI (4).
5 coins preserved in St. Asaph Cathedral, 1 with rev. SOLI INVICTO COMITI having apparently been lost.
