Description

A hoard of over 2000 Thurrock type potins found by a metal detectorist at the edge of quarry hollow. The hoard was used by Van Arsdell as the basis of his typology for the 'Thurrock' type potin.

Notes

De Jersey implies the remainder may be studied in future.A small proportion are recorded on the CCI and the bulk of the coins are in Thurrock Museum but require cleaning..
