Medieval to post-medieval circular lead alloy shoe buckle frame, cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 115-210. The pin would have been of iron wire. Diameter 17mm. The use of such buckles continued into the post-medieval period (Egan 2005, 34). 14th - 16th century.
