A complete but pierced Roman copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine dating to c. AD 335 to 341 (Reece period 17). GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type depicting two soldiers flanking one standard holding spears in outer hands. Mint unclear.
The coin is pierced by a hole (c. 1.6mm) placed just above the bust at 11 o'clock drilled from the reverse through to the obverse.
