A complete worn and corroded copper alloy Roman coin; a sestertius of Lucilla issued under Marcus Aurelius and dating from AD 164-169 (Reece period 8). CERES reverse depicting Ceres veiled, draped, seated right (contra OCRE) on cista mystica from which a snake emerges holding two corn ears in the right hand and a torch in the left hand. Mint of Rome.
