Copper alloy harness link fragment. Cast rhomboid loop with a knop on the outer edge of three angles, and the stub of a lentoid section bar projecting from the fourth. The metal has a reddish tint often associated with Anglo-Scandinavian material; this is a rather small example. Creased at the loop. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 1000-1100
