A complete copper alloy medieval buckle frame. It is rectangular in shape with a thickened outer end and slightly outwards curving sides. The outer face of the outer end is decorated with three transverse grooves in the centre, creating a pin rest, and one across either end. The strap bar is straight at each end of its inner side recessed.
Griffiths et al. (2007, 84, fig.2.5.1, C) date this style to the late 14th century AD.
