A diamond-shaped lead mount of probable Late Medieval to Post-Medieval date (c. 1500 – 1900).

The mount has a central circular preformation which would have been used to attach it to a larger object. There are traces of decoration on one face.

Similar objects have been recorded on the PAS database; see IOW-1D6452 and DENO-ED895E these examples are however copper alloy rather than lead.
