Incomplete medieval copper-alloy forked spacer from a composite strap-end terminating in a fully rounded three-tiered, acorn-shaped knob. Each prong terminates in a worn break. One is almost missing completely with just a short stub surviving. No surface decoration is discernible on the knob. Both faces of the prongs retain traces of solder. A similar example is illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (2002) No.675. Other parallels on this database include NMS-342787 and NMS-088092. Late 13th to 15th century.
