Silver fob. Cast fob of low plano-convex section taking the form of a heater-shaped shield within vegetal scrolls and below a low crown, all with cabled and incised embellishments, and retaining a soldered top loop and a ring of diameter 8.3mm clenched around it. The shield bears the letters: E E / B in somewhat crudely rendered capitals. The flat reverse is inscribed: SIXES / 1912 / E.C.D / CAPTAIN, with stamped maker’s mark: WHH in a rectangular stamped panel to the left, and hallmarks [anchor/lion left/III or M] in a similar panel to the right. Suggested date: Modern, 1912
