A Middle Palaeolithic flint flake (40,000-8,300BC). This is a tertiary flake from late in the reduction sequence with no cortex present. The flake is from a reduced core. There is a small amount of retouch present. Dimensions: length: 28.03mm; width: 32.58mm; thickness: 10.01mm; weight: 11.89g.

Notes:

This assemblage of tools has been made from the same flint, they have the same patination and the ridges have been flattened. They have come from a secondary context from the gravel.
