Copper alloy purse bar arm fragment that has a circular cross-section, the outside edge is decorated with double hatched recessed lines that are infilled with niello. On the underside is a long thin rectangular tab that has two pierced holes from which elements of the purse would have been suspended. Finally, both end of the bar is truncated resulting in the loss of the tip from one side and the central swivel block from the other.
