A cast copper alloy single loop oval buckle. The frame has a single collared knop at one end and a narrowed and offset strap bar at the other. At either side of the strap bar is a casting spur. The length of the buckle is 23.4mm, the width is 15.0mm and the weight is 2.63g. This has been classified by Marshall as Type IVC and has been dated to 1350-1400 (1985, 11).
