A complete and worn post-Medieval copper-alloy duit of Zeeland, a province of the United Provinces of the Netherlands. Issued by the Dutch East India Company. Date illegible on coin.

Obverse: LUCTOR ET EMERGO] (Struggle and arise); Arms of Zeeland: a crowned lion rampant emerging from the sea, within wreath.

Reverse:  *A*/ZELAN/DIA/[ ].

Diameter: 20.6mm. Weight: 2.59g. DA=12:12.

These copper duits were struck from 1714 till 1797.
