A convex copper alloy button with a gilded surface depicting a plough and a crown over a black-letter legend BUCKS / 1832. The reverse has a maker's mark of DAWES & SHERLOCK / 15 KING STREET / COVENT GARDEN surrounding the stump of a broken soldered wire shank.
