Incomplete medieval silver penny, possibly of Henry VI, possibly dated 1422-1461. The coin is severely clipped so that only the central figures survive and heavily worn making the surviving surface difficult to read.
Obverse: Crowned bust facing. Crown is bifoliate with slender large lis, large left and right fleurs with small spikes as jewels. Possible saltaire privy mark on right below crown, but not clear. Eyes are pellets. Legend missing (clipped away).
Reverse: cross with three pellets in each quarter and possible quatrefoil in centre. Legend missing (clipped away) but prominent wide saltire X is present.
