Silver coin. Long cross penny of a later medieval ruler, possibly Henry VI first reign (1422-1461), York mint, annulet issue of 1422-1427, perhaps clipped to achieve the value of a halfpenny.

Obverse description: Facing bare-shouldered bust, big hair, bifoliate crown whose ornaments appear to touch; broken annulet or crescent on breast.

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle, central quatrefoil with pellet in middle.
