Gold Memento Mori ringer ring with a large flat circular bezel that is surrounded by four evenly spaced semi-circular lobs in a cross pattern with a small projecting point between each lobe. The front of the bezel is decorated with a white enamel skull with black enamel detailing set within a recessed cell, this is held within a circular cell that is filled with black enamel. Surrounding this is a band that contains the inscription *MEMENTO:MORI. All of the letters would have been filled with black enamel but only traces remain, this is then surrounded by a thin recessed border that is filled with black enamel. Each of the lobes are decorated with four recessed lines consisting of two centrally vertical lines and one either side at opposing angles.
The top half of each shoulder are detailed with a high relief scroll that has traces of white and black enamel on either side and possible green enamelling on the face. The lower half has a flanged/transverse collar with a tapering panel below that narrows towards the hoop, the panel is surrounded by an engraved linear border and three vertical lines at the top, all of which retain traces of a black enamel fill.
On the reverse of the bezel is a square stamp with the letter Y in the centre
