Lead stylus of uncertain date, possibly Roman to Medieval, c. AD 43-1500.
The object is cylindrical in form and sub-circular in cross-section. One end is tapered with a rounded point to form the writing end. The opposite end terminates in a flat end, possibly due to a break. The object has a creamish-brown patina.
