An incomplete post medieval pewter button dating to the 18th century (c.AD 1700-1800).
The button is about one half of a flat circular disk. The face of the object as a pewter surface that has a centrally engraved sun burst motif. The reverse of the object is plain.
This example is similar to several examples in Bailey (2004), particularly Fig.9.34 p.47.
